THE OTHER SIDE.......................

2nd March,2010
Wednesday

7p.m

Dear Friends,

Good Evening! After three days' holidays,I joined for duty today. The day was hectic as I have to present a cultural event tomorrow.I felt nice giving tunes to the Hindi lines and was enjoying thoroughly. The show will be presented in Hindi. That is a bit tough, but a change is always welcome.I love challenges.

The Holi revelers participated in the traditional dances that are associated with the festival, especially the Romtamel,Ghodemodni etc.The dances will continue to mesmerize the people for the next fifteen days.:)The city was soaked in colour.

Thanks a lot for those who enjoyed getting drenched in the bright colours of sincerely yours!:)

CBSE exams are starting tomorrow for class 12th and on 5th for class 10th.Students and parents are stressed and they need our prayers and moral support. They should not lose confidence. Each child is unique with different potentials and talents.Try to see their dreams through their eyes and not yours.Friends, comparisons are always damaging. We have no right to crush the confidence of the young minds.Inferiority complex is our gifts to the younsters by comparing them with the children of neighbours or friends. For those parents and students who are really stressed,I present today's post.Thank you so much my friend for the forward.Parents must reframe their approach to enable children do their best. Here it is.

A Father was reading a magazine and his little daughter every now and then distracted him. To keep her busy, he tore one page on which was the printed Map of the World. He tore it into pieces and asked her to go to her room and put them together to make the map again. He was sure she would take the whole day to get it done. But the little one came back within minutes with perfect map. When he asked how she could do it so quickly, she said, 'Oh Daddy, there is a man's face on the other side of the paper. I made the face perfect to get the map right."" she ran outside to play leaving the father surprised." There is always the other side to whatever you experience in this world. Whenever we come across a challenge or a puzzling situation, look at the other side...You will be surprised to see an easy way to tackle the problem.. You know what,it is high time we must think on this line. It's never late and even if it's late,it's better late than never.
Friends, hope you liked the story. It is simply wonderful. We can't force success on anyone.Let's suggest ways and solutions to destress.Wecan create a comfortable and postive evniornment at home.Children might not reach upto our expectations.Let's remember the five D's-diligence,dedication,discipline,devotion and finally destiny.

Wishing best of luck,

It's Anu signing off...................

''Our lives are not determined by what happens to us ,but by how we react to what happens to us.

Not by what life brings to us,but by the attitude we bring to life.

A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes.

It is a catalyst,a spark that creates an extraordinary results.Let's change to make a change.''

Yaar,if you have forgotten to wish someone dear good luck and instil confidence, please do it right now.You are in good postion now because of the prayers and best wishes of your dear and near ones.:)

Reminding Anu loves you always,

Requesting all my young friends to be real cool,

Assuring you are in our prayers,

Relax and sleep well.Success is yours!

Sasneham,

Anu

dear Anu,
I just loved this one..
It's high time that this traditional way of evaluating intelligence and memory power of students got changed. In todays hectic life where a good majority is forgetting true love and values of life ,it's better to evaluate their EQ more than IQ.
Simply wonderful Anu.
regards ,wishes,love and prayers...

Dear Unni,
Good Morning!
This is a pleasant surprise that you have written the first comment.:)Thanks a bunch for your sincere comment.
Today is an important day for the students who appear for the board exam as this marks the turning point in their lives.Students and parents are so stressed. As bloggers,Unni,I strongly feel we have responsibility towards the society.
Please pray for them and prayers work wonders.
I have seen youngsters going blank just ten minutes before the exam and I used to try my level best to bring back the confidence in them.It is difficult, but I don't give up!
Hey,I can't let my confidence level to come down at any cost,as I am supposed to give the same in plenty, unlimited.:)
And you know what I really feel good to do the cultural programme today in Hindi.Hey,I have to leave early.:)
Wishing you a bright and beautiful day ahead filled with postive thoughts and confidence,
Sasneham,
Anu

Dear Joe,
Good Morning!
Welcome back to sincerely yours.:)
Thanks a lot for your heartfelt comment.
I know,Joe,you can relate so well to this post.I believe, there won't be board exam for 12th,from next year onwards.
I always believe in value based education.More than half the stress is caused as the yongsters are not taught how to face a difficult situation.
Other than the latest mobile phones, bikes and the modern dress, first we should give the basic lessons of LIFE-love,values and culture.
I wish and pray students write the exam with a confident and peaceful mind.
Wishing you a beautiful day ahead,
Sasneham,
Anu

oh i hav heard that story Anu... really nice one... i do agree... we tend to develop inferiority in children... the moment we strt comparin .... god save the parents actually !... cyu

I too have read that story and hearing from you again was a refreshing thing for my mind.

Yes some parents as well as teachers create a lot of havoc in the childrens' mind. This is my pet subject and as i keep interacting with children I know how stressful it is for them.

I conduct workshop and the attitude of many youngsters worries me. They are so casual about their studies and approach to life that they fail to understand how they would lead a life. But is it possible to change their attitude in a day when so much has been driven into their subconscious mind for last 20 years.

Hope and pray I would be able to convince them in my subsequent workshops.
regards
chitra

"Our lives are not determined by what happens to us ,but by how we react to what happens to us."

Love those lines. It's really how we respond to life's challenges which determines who we are and how our life is lived. :-)

Once more, you have succeeded to make your readers think with that piece of wisdom and truth.

Have a great day, Anu.
Keep writing as you inspire.
God bless you.
