THE MARRIAGE RECEPTION OF APPU AND ASH IN CHENNAI

ELLORUKKUM VANAKAM!
31stJanuary,2010
Sunday, 11.30p.m

Dear Friends,
Good Morning!
The precious holiday, just one day I get a week to relax and get refreshed.morning I was in the balcony enjoying the beauty of the calm and quiet sea, talking to my best friend on phone.the atmosphere, the surroundings and the timing along with my

mindset decide the tone of chatting.I come out to the balcony to get lost in the beauty of the colourful sea at night and the silent and calm sea in the mornings. As promised,I am writing the new post on the marriage reception of Ash and Appu.It was a pleasure to travel together with my dear and near ones to Chennai. We were really excited and looking forward to the marriage reception.Nanda and Madhav had to cancel their tickets due to personal reasons.we missed them a lot.Kishen and Arun added joy to our trip.

The whole chennai smells filter coffee and lovely maddening mallipoov[Jasmine flowers].Mallippov is my favourite gift that I receive wholeheartedly.[hope you got the hint].I bougt the beautiful strand of mallippov and kanakambaram and put it on my single plait.the pattiyamma was selling flowers with a smile and she gave me alovely rose too.:)A smile does make a difference.

Indian weddings have a charm of their own.As per the traditions the wedding is primarily organized by the bride's family.the reception is celebrated after the wedding. It is rganized by the family of the groom and is a sort of a grand ceremony.this is the celebration time for both the families as they rejoice over the new accord.this is the time for the groom's side to make the world know that they have a new member in their family and they want to celebrate her arrival.Reception is an extensionof the marriage celebration. It is organizes to provide opportunity to those who could not attend the wedding.in mehandi application,Achu has written Ganesh in her palm, which you can see in the photo. We were intoroduced to bridegroom's relatives.Appu's teacher was telling,''Ganesh is areal gem''.his mother's face was glowing with pride.[I approve the teacher's certificates].:)

A beautiful reception is every bride and groom's dream,

A time to relax and enjoy.

It was held on 26th,January,2010

At the beautiful auditorium of Green Park Hotel,Chennai.

The reception was a grand and elaborate party;

We were really made comfortable and at ease.

The reception echoed the ceremony ,
In style and decor.

The outstanding speciality was the lawn,

Where the guests felt so refreshed,

Enjoying the cool breeze.

Water was flushing through the fountain.

Hotel Green Park is a 4 star hotel,

Situated in NSK Salai,Vadapalani,

Just twelve kms away from the airport.

It is a fabulous destination for reception

With unforgettable memories.

And beautiful resort locations for the reception

This is acity that can throw a party!

The guestlist included relatives and close friends.

Stepping outside the traditions

And embracing the new elements

To make the reception more

Interacting and engaging.

There was a playful and fun atmosphere

We celebrated and did it an unique style

With smart planning and the right resources

The reception turned out to be

The best party I ever attended.

Appu was in formals and Ash in her pudava saree of light sadlewood shade.
The secret is Appu loves to see her in saree.:)

The best ornament was Achu's enchanting smile,

Which makes her a real beauty.

The couple looked awesome,

They garlanded the orchid malas,

lovely in the purple shade.

The mesmerising stage decorations,

The light settings and the fresh flowers,

The DJ and the selected romantic songs,

Created the perfect ambience

For those who have a romantic heart,

By speeding up the heartbeats.

An elaborate menu with

The choicest selection of traditional

Indian,Oriental and Continental

To suit all palates.

The dessert was the couple's favourite,

Gulab jamun and icecream.

I must tell you,guys,

More masti awaited us after the grand dinner .

Enjoying the fresh air in the lawn.

Long before,I had stopped asking,Where is the party tonight?

But whenever I attend a party,

I just can't resist the music and shaking a leg.

From the beginning the colourful,

Twinkling dance floor attracted me a lot!

After the crowd left, the family and close friends

Had a lot of fun and laughter

Dancing to the tunes of Tamil and Hindi numbers;

I always wanted to watch Kishen performing,

And to dance with him forgetting myself.

And here I was so lucky to have both.

Kishen was the star of the dance floor.

He was loaded with praises.

And for the first time we were

Altogether dancing in high spirits;
I was really surprised to see

My ettan and kunjettan joining the group.

Arun, ash's ettan and rajeev with his friend,

Danced with the group enjoying the show.

Maza,Nanda and Madhav we missed you,

And I was longing for My Little Star.

Jeevz had left the same night of the marriage.

Minooty, you missed the fun and sparkling lights.

The big balloons and the caring hearts.

It was simply fantastic!

Then the family photo session started

and the couple was led to the

Beautifully decorated room.

The bed was very much inviting with flowers.

A heart shaped cake was cut by Achu and Appu
Let the sweetness remain forever!

A Big God Bless You,Dearies,

To lead a life filled with

Happiness,peace,trust and understanding!

As you told me Appu, you can read the post now enjoying the chill and romantic weather of Munnar.I really liked the spontaneous action of yours when I gifted both of you the bunch of jamanthy flowers, you knelt down and proclaimed 'I love you' to Achu.wow!really cool.:)

never ever let the love diminish and I'm sure you have surprises for Valentine's Day![Last year Achu was in dubai and still you surprised her].:)

A PROMISE OF TOGETHERNESS

29th January,2010

Friday
6p.m

Dear Friends,

Good Evening!

After a break of ten days,I reached yesterday late night and joined duty today. It was terrible to be away from own people, home and village.across the globe everyone joined for Achu's marriage with Ganesh. It was a time to rejoice, crack jokes, feel the love of near ones and the best thing happened wasMinooty's presence.Nanda and family are still flying the long journey of sixteen hours.whole night I was missing Minooty, her giggles, her soft skin, the so cute smile and the innocent looks!she was the center of attraction.Menooty's Anna Prasha[first cereal giving ceremony]was also done on the same day in the auspicious presence of Lord Krishna.
Amma must be feeling too lonely as Nanda too left her.the house was too crowded and now just silence prevails. Can you believe,I travelled across four states-Kerala,Chennai,Karnataka and Goa.it was a long journey.

Previous night, we had fun with songs teasing the bride and bridegroom. The prince charming sang 'kuch kuch hota hein......''and the bride was blushing!it was the time to enjoy and tasty dinner was arranged.being the girls' party we had lots of responsibilities.to share the duties was a pleasure.to make the proper and grand arrangements, planning was done long before.the pleasant talks and sense of humour added colour to the festive ambience.

The happening was we could stay in our ancestoral house after one whole year.the newly married couple was given a warm welcome. enjoying the fresh air and the greenery, life is at its best in the village house. This post is lovingly dedicated to Achu and Appu[Ganesh].

Marriage is a time of togetherness.

Seeking blessings, giving dakshina with betel leaves and acronuts,

Make your hearts grow fonder of your daughter.

Tying thali[mangal sutra] and exchanging Thulsi garlands,

Were held in the Kalyana Mandapam;

In the premises of Lord Krishna Temple,Guruvayoor.

The rest of the celebrations were held,

In the auditorium of Rugmini Regency

In the pink coloured pattu saree,

And adorned with gold and diamond jewellery,

A bunch of jasmine flowers on the single plait,

With a beautiful and enchanting smile,

Achu looked like a princess in elegance.

Together they are a lovely couple,

So humble and pleasing in manners and ways.

Thali kettu was the most important ritual,

Along with the exchanging of garlands.
And fragrant bouquets.
Two pattu sarees are gifted as pudava sarees;
And they are so beautiful and rich in looks!
A beautiful diamond necklace was another gift.
Ash's eyes sparkled with delight,
When she was welcomed to the stage,
Accompanied by the traditional thalam,ashtamangalyam and lamps lit;
Held by girls and ladies,
Ganesh looked like the real prince charming
Wearing the white silk full sleeve shirt and dhoti.
His face was radiant with happiness.
The Kalyana Mandapam was decorated beautifully,
With Jasmine,marigold,jamanthy and kanakambaram flowers.
A delicious feast was served after the rituals and photo sessions.
They are so gracious persons,
Characterised by charm, good taste and generosity of spirit.
Now Ash is the member of the new family,
And she will start learning Tamil soon.:)
One could see the love that glows in the eyes,
And we are sure,Achu will be taken care of!
Let's pray for a long and happy married life,
To Achu and Ganesh,A life of promises!
Let your desires and wishes come true.
Enjoy a smooth married life!
As the communication skill is good,
Ideas and thoughts can be exchanged well.
Being able to adapt sweetly is a virtue.
We know, Achu has that wonderful virtue.
Now Ash is Ms.Aswathi Ganesh,
A stimulating,helpful and interesting companion.
Now they are discovering themselves,
In the cold and romantic hill station of Munnar!

Friends,

genuine love requires patience and kindness.doing small things make a lot of difference.let's be tender hearted and forgiving like the newly wedded couples.let's deny something to make the spouse happy.criticising the partner makes the relation damaged.Making a husband-wife relationship work is the respobnsibility of both spouses but for that both must understand each other well.

Thanking you all for your prayres, greetings and good wishes,

My heartfelt gratitude to someone special who took trouble to reach the venue from a long distance,

Reminding you Anu loves you hamesha,

Remembering each and every lovely word that touched my heart,

It's Anu signing off...............

Ettan and bhabhi must be feeling so low as they are away from dear daughter now and from relatives too...........Arun will be with them just for two days.

respect each other and live yourlife, friends.the rest of the details of marriage reception will be written in the next post!wait for more masti!

recollect your wedding night, the pleasant talks, the happy days.........life is still beautiful!
Cheers, guys!aren't you feeling good?and to my friend, thanks for missing me........:)

wishing you a romantic night,

Sasneham,

Anu

Dear Friends,

Good Evening!

It's a beautiful evening. At last I had finished the important work alloted to me and I am leaving for Achu's marriage. After many days,I was enjoying the beautiful blue sea.so relaxing and refreshing.Once I reach Trichur, the morning scene will change.I am so excited. All the dear and near ones started reaching home.Minooty will keep us busy.once again after many years, lullabies are sung at home. It's the marriage season in Kerala.Pattu and silk sarees, the fragrance of jasmine flowers, laughter, fun and feast.wow!I will be busy doing the last minute arrangements.Ash[Achu]is getting married to Ganesh at the auspicious presence of Lord Krishna in the Kalyana Mandapam of Sree Guruvayoor Temple on 22nd January.we need your prayers and blessings.

I am back to my real moods and feel fresh.I was in a sort of silent treatment.

Before leaving this beautiful state[even if for a short break],I feel like writing a post.Life is a blessing!Let's celebrate life and don't forget to live each and every moment. My Little Star taught me this precious lesson.

Life is so busy now,

With wanted and unwanted demands.

When the pressures are more,

Take a break and a deep breath;

It's time to tell yourself,friends,

Live each and every moment!

When we forget to make the phone calls,

And to post the hand written letters,

Getting occupied to give time for family,

Remember,the time is now,

To tell yourself,guys,

Live and each and every moment.

When we don't find time to talk,

When our spirits are low,

When we have sleepless nights,

It's the right time to say, pals,

Live each and every moment!

When we spoil our days in raging rows,

When we feel jealous over friendships,

When we don't get the much awaited phone calls,

Please feel confident ;

And tell yourself,friends,

Live each and every moment!

Life is not a bed of roses,

We must accept the thorns too.

It should not surprise us,

When the close friends develop a cold feet;

Nothing else we can do but say,

Live each and every moment!

When we stop receiving

The small and kind gestures,

Which were showered on us;

That showed someone did care for us,

It's time to say,buddies,

Live each and every moment!

When we hardly get appreciations,

When you feel life is a burden,

The excess baggage troubles you,

Give space and tell yourself,

Live each and every momnet.

When we get confused,

Where we stand in our relations,

Try to rebuild the trust and understanding,

And tell yourself,friends,

Live each and every moment.

Friends,

Always believe in unconditionsl love.let's enjoy the present

moment.let's have genuine feelings in our minds.Take time to say,'Hi' and 'your friendship makes my whole world beautiful.'Tell me when did you last say that to me?:)

The night is cool and the ships are illuminated.cold breeze is brushing my cheeks. It's so lovely. It's time to start packing.[rather it's too late].

I will be in Chennai for the marriage reception and it's fun travelling with our family.looking forward to the exciting moments and I know surprises are in galore.

It's Anu signing off..........

There is another marriage in Trichur to attend on 21st,January.Deepak is getting married to Radhika. There won't be time to visit your blogs and leave comments, now.But I promise,as soon as I am back,I will be reading all the posts.

Friends, always leave a ray of hope to someone you meet and talk for the day!

dil ki dhadkan hai,khyaalon mein mere rehta hai;

Kaun hai woh,jo sawalon mein mere rehta hai.

Jis ka dkha na khwaab us se wafa karta hoon,

dil ke aain main us se mila karta hoon!

Wishing you a dreamy and romantic night,

MAKAR SANKRANTI-A FESTIVAL IN DEVOTION TO SUN GOD!

14th,January,2010!
Thursday

5 p.m

Dear Friends,
Good Evening!

Today is an auspicious day-Makar Sankranti/Pongal/Makara Jyothi.Ayyappa Temple festival started.morning I went to have punya darshan of Lord Ayyappa.the temple is beautifully decorated with strands of marigold flowers.the shining golden and silver papers are brought from Guruvayoor.I could attend Kalashpooja and noon pooja.after the pooja when the shrine was opened devotee's mind calls out,''Swamiye Saranamayyappa!''Lord is beautifully adorned with many floral garlands.each time when I go to temple,I surrender everything at the lotus feet of God.

Makar Sankranti is one of the most important Hindu festivals.the sun enters the zodiac sign of 'Makar'[Capricon].'Sankranti means the movement from one zodiac sign to another. It marks the equinox-the day and night are of equal duration on this day. After today, the days will be longer. It marks the end of winter and heralds the arrival of spring. It is also the harvest festival, which has been celebrated from the times of the Aryans. The Sun God is said to turn his back on winter with his seven horse chariot, marching forward. The Sun is celebrated because it is the symbol of eternal light.
Each festival leaves some message to adopt.Makar Sankranti signifies enlightment and the transition of the self from ignorance to true knowledge. It spreads goodwill, peace and prosperity. It is indicative of overcoming hard feelings and promoting stronger bonds of love.

Makar Sankranti is celebrated all over India. In Gujarat, the celebrations are marked by kite flying competitions. In Uttar Pradesh the Kumbha Mela is held at Prayag in Allahabad.People bathe in the Sangam[confluence of the Ganga,Jamuna and Saraswathi] at Prayag.Hordes of people throng to this mela to take a dip in the holy water which is said to cleanse people of their sins. The holy bath is believed to open the gates of heaven for ordinary mortals according to Hindu custom. The Hindus offer water to the Sun God in gratitude for a good harvest.
The time to seek blessings from the Sun God is here.Hindus enjoy kite flying festival on Makar Sankranti.the different colours in the sky will certainly make an interesting panorama of kites that come attached with oodles of feelings. The flying of the kite may symbolically mean reaching out to God.Kite flying is indeed a gifted opportunity

Pongal in Tamil means 'boiling over or spill over'.The boiling over of milk in the clay pot is considered to denote future wishes for the family.the moment the rice boils over and bubbles out of the festival, the family members shout out 'Ponggalo Pongal'.

pongal is celebrated as harvest festival for three days in Chennai.Boiled rice and milk are offered to the Rain God the first day and to the Sun God the second day.on the third day, family cattle will be given a bath, adorned with colours to honour them for the hard work they put in.

In Punjab,it is celebrated as Lohri.Bonfires are lit on the eve of Sankranti into which sweets, sugarcane and rice are thrown.
In Maharashtra and Goa,it is celebrated by everyone.it is a special occasion for married ladies and they have a get together called 'Haldi Kumkum'.A pooja is offered after which family members exchange a sweet made out of sesame seeds and jaggery as agesture of goodwill.

According to Hindu mythology,it is believed that by bathing with 'til'[sesame] water, performing 'til homam'.'til tarpan','tilbhakshan' and donating 'til' cleanses past sins.
It is customary to eat sweetmeats made out of 'til' and 'gul'[jaggery] along with puffed rice.

Lakhs of devotees are crowded at Sabarimala to have drshan of Makar Jyothi. It's a miracle that happens every year on this day in between 6-6.30p.m.Makar Jyothi is a celestial star which is worshipped by the pilgrims.the devotees believe that witnessing the light brings them good luck and divine blessings.Makar Jyothi marks the climax of the Makara vilakku season of Sabarimala pilgrimage lasting 41 days. All the eyes will be glued to the channels now to have the punya darshan of Makar Jyothi.

It's Anu signing off..............

May Lord Ayyappa belss one and all.
Wishing you a peaceful and calm night,

Reminding you Anu loves all of you,

Sasneham,

Anu

SILENCE IS GOLDEN.........................WHEN?

12th,January,2009

Tuesday

7p.m

Dear Friends,

Good Evening!

It rained yesterday night.as the window was kept opened,I could feel the unexpected raindrops and enjoy the maddening smell of the mud.It was a refreshing experience.when the life is hectic, work is on the rise, relations are getting strained, the cool drops of rain, the chirping of sparrows, the illuminated ships in the wonderful sea cheer me up!there is a beautiful garden full of multi coloured flowers in the ground floor.each new bloom lifts my spirits. :)

The Annual Festival is starting at Sree Ayyappa Temple from tomorrow.the whole premises will be crowded with the devotees, the new priests from Kerala, the drummers and the artists of different cultural programmes.

Right from childhood,I was a chatterbox.I was often asked to keep silence atleast for five minutes.''Anu keeps silence only when she is asleep''.''What can we give you to keep your mouth shout?''Anu,please learn to listen.talk less''.[Anu learnt the lessons in a harder way].

As a part of the advanced course of Art Of Living,Nanda observed silence for three days in Switzerland and in Bangalore.that was terrible for us being unable to contact her when it was urgent.she enjoyed being away from the voice and speeches.and it was an unbelievable and amazing experience for her!we got a lovely book,Celebrating Silence written by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. If you get a chance please read this book.I was wondering, how can people keep silent for even ten minutes?[gradually,I started learning-silence is powerful].

Yes,my dear ones,I am trying hard and thus this post is written.

Silence is golden
When our own words fail

In proving the innocence

And instead,we are being accused.

Silence is golden

When someone wants

To dig deeper mercilessly

And you start feeling uncomfortable.

Silence is golden

When our thoughts are not clear

Getting confused about future

And the present looks bleak!

Silence is golden

When our life undergoes

The trials and tribulations

And we have to just wait patiently.

Silence is golden,

When we want to sing,

The most romantic song,

But our heartthrob doesn't have time!

Silence is golden,

When the caller tune wakes you up,

But the emotional voice from your heart,

Does not reach your lips!

Silence is golden

When we lose our emotioanl stability.

And we don't want our dear ones,

To be aware of the same!

Silence is golden

When she misses him a lot,

But she doesn't want him,

To know the pleasant truth!

Silence is golden

As the nature looks beautiful,

When the raindrops makes

Her so romantic in thoughts!

Silence is golden

When the best friend moves away;

Breaking our hearts,

Into bits and pieces!:(

Silence is golden

When I watch the amazing sea;

Sipping the hot cup of coffee,

Sitting in my balcony!

Silence is golden

When our words fail to enter the heart

Where you had a special place

Like a diamond in the ring!

Silence is golden

When you find it

Difficult to say ,'no',

As it is painful for him!

Silence is golden

When the undivided attention is lost,

You start feeling miserable,

Neglected and insulted!

Silence is golden

When he/she starts looking

At the watch or outside,

Showing his/her disinterest!

Silence is golden

When promises are forgotten.

Leaving you all alone,

Knowing not what to do!

Silence is golden

When her dreams surround him;

But he refuses to understand,

Everything is still the same!

Silence is golden

When Anu is asked,

The very personal

Mysterious deails! :)

Friends, you can decide now when speech is silver and silence is golden!many unwanted things can be avoided by just keeping silence![a lesson learnt late].

Turning points do occur ;but we never know when and how.I am reading the book,BLINK by Malcolm Gladwell.I just can't say go to bed without a book in my hand.{my blues turn into red!}most of the books are gifts from my Kishen.

It's Anu signing off...............

I hope it will rain tonight too.I need the cool showers very badly.I know talking makes the ice melt.but why should I?You tell me.A break may help a relation to grow stronger.:)Iprotest by keeping silence.this is my peaceful way to show that I disagree.

Dil de diya hai

Jaan tumhe denge.........................

wishing you a peaceful and dreamy night,

Anu loves all of you,

Sasneham,

Anu

The appraisal went on very well.the officers turned out to be very understanding, caring and soft spoken!unbelievable;but miracles did happen.so,by the end of the tensed five days, everyone was relaxed and happy.thank you friends for your prayers and moral support.I am really touched that when i was facing my ordeal you were with me. :)You are my strength.

I was supposed to write on eminent eights as I am tagged by Anya;but when I received this forward from my friend,Asha menon I thought I will share this with you.
Why Women Cry A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him.
"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."
Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?" "All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.
The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.
Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"
God said: "When I made the woman she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,

yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her keep going, when everyonelse gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."
"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."
Please send this to five women you know today. You will boost another woman's self-esteem! Send it to every man, so he can understand!
If we will not do,someone else will do.
Friends, tell me other than your courtship days, have you ever taken time to look into the eyes of the lover, where a sea of love is hidden?by silly misunderstandings, petty arguments you are forgetting to live your lives.

So,this weekend, spend time with whom you have built the castles of romance and make sure that life is still beautiful.small things make a lot of difference.
It's Anu signing off........
Friends,
we don't need something major to happen to brighten up our days.sometimes the little things have just as much of an effect.can you sing a lovely melody for me?I am in a mood to relax as second saturday is the precious holiday we get in a month.
Aapko yaad karna aadat ki bat hai[it is my habit to remember you]
Aapse dur rahna ulfat ki baat hai
Magar aap jaise dost pana kismat ki bat hai[but to get a friend like you is my luck]!
Choice is yours!:)
hey,did say sorry for the tears you have caused?
If not do that right now before going to hit the bed.
Wishing you a beautiful and romantic weekend,
Reminding you Anu loves you sincerely,
Sleep tight and sweet dreamz...........
Sasneham,

Anu

I NEED A PAT;WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Dear Friends,

Good Evening!

It's very cold.the cool breeze is blowing from the sea.I can't even open the glass door and spend some time in the balcony.through the glass,I admire and appreciate the illuminated ships and boats, the coloured water and the solitude!my mind is filled with peace and happiness.right from the day I joined work,it's work and more work.late hours, meetings and round the clock, you think and plan.it's appraisal week and the most important day is thursday,7th,January.I have to finish a lot of wriiten work tonight, but right now nothing stops me from writing this post.the urge is strong and I have a feeling, someone somewhere would be anxiously waiting to read my post. :)it's my belief.

I am a workaholic.I need to excel and be the best.I crave for perfection.so,my work never ends.I hardly enjoy life, the important events and happenings.but I am satisfied only if I overdo things.on many occasions I did not get the right kind of appreciation I deserved for a good job done and have therefore felt neglected or ignored.but that is momentary.I get out of that phase soon.
On many times we feel thrown out as the need is over.we hardly hear,'Thank you','Sorry'' or 'Please'.I don't like to be frustrated or unhappy.I want to set a good example of a cheerful and an inspiring friend.to boost my feelings I have decided not to depend on others.you may not have time for me.so,whenever I feel I need an appreciation, recognition or a good word,I will pat myself and be happy and in high spirits.so,I am creating opportunities to pat myself at the end of the day by improving my self esteem, charity works and reaching out to the needy.

A walk enjoying the cool breeze is too good for mind and body;but I have to leave home early in the morning.respect and recognition can be achieved by smiling and sharing what we can, helping in some way and by counselling.we are responsible for our happiness.

just now I received a forward from my friend and it goes with this post very well.please have a look.

Does Management know their Staff?
On walking into the factory, the MD noticed a young guy leaning against the wall, doing nothing.
He approached the young man and calmly said to him, "How much do you earn?"
The young man was quite amazed that he was asked such a personal question, he replied, none the less, "I earn $2000.00 a month, Sir. Why?"
Without answering, the MD took out his wallet and removed $6000.00 cash and gave it to the young man and said, "Around here I pay people for working, not for standing around looking pretty! Here is your 3 months salary, now GET OUT and don't come back".
The young man turned around and was quickly out of sight.

Noticing a few onlookers, the MD said in a very upset manner, "And that applies for everybody in this company".
He approached one of the onlookers and asked him, "Who's the young man that I just fired?"
To which an amazing reply came of, "He was the pizza delivery man, Sir...!"

Friends,

How'z that?It really happens when the management doesn't know the staff.our appraisal team has reached from the headquarters. They don't know me.my actions[reports/files]have to speak louder.confidence and presence of mind I do have.Still,I have to preapre a lot!

It's Anu signing off. After writing this post I am relieved and I can work harder till midnight.[what a way of getting inspired?]:)

You know what,in the wee hours of the first day of January,I felt like singing,

''Thattam pidichu valikkalle....................mylanchadi chediye...................''imagine I was lying down in the berth of Rajdhani E xpress. When my heart fills with the soft feelings,I love to sing this number.today let me dedicate the same .my throat is choked till I sing it again and again...................:)the very song lifts my spirits.Lakshmi Gopalaswami makes us feel the romantic mood so well..............

Kehte hai dil ki baat,har kissi ko kahi nahi jati;

Apno kobhi batayi nahi jati;

Par dost to ayinehote hai;

Aur ayine sekoi bat chupaai nahi jati! :)[aap to mere aayina hei nah?]

Wishing you a cool, lovely romantic night,

Anu loves all of you!

Sasneham,

Anu
