                  Good Evening!

How are you?I was busy with an assignment on RAIN,and you know the theme makes me so excited and I enjoyed doing each and every bit of it.How much I love the knee-deep wade through the puddles.Even the power point presentation is ready.It is a competition.But the problem is I reveal ,my theme and sources to the other participants and even help them how to go about it.:)I may sound silly to may of you;but I have a heart that beats for my friends.
Besides,I wrote a guest post for Leo,my friend at his space I Rhyme Without Reason.When you are free,you may browse through my post-Neckdeep Gratitude.Vinu is completing his 600th post and I am happy that I could be a part of the grand celebrations of reaching the mega  milestone of 600 posts.

LOVE AND TEARS

Dear Friends,
           Good Evening!
Heavy rains and the weather is cold and miserable.I know when I love the showers so much,I should not complain.But my sparrows make me feel so when they shiver,when it rains.Right now,we are waiting for some sunshine.You know how much I love rains,butterflies,birds and flowers.Everything around us look so beautiful when love is in the air.The ships with the  reflections of coloured lights look like magnificient palaces.But I don't see the squirrels sitting on the branches of trees and eating nuts.
It's  lovely night.I enjoyed the wonderful sea and the ships at the distance.
I do want to hide my emotions like many of you,and pretend what I am not.But it just doesn't happen.Under the frozen feelings,love,happiness and sorrow flows at the very small kind gesture.Like Red Riding Hood and Alice In Wonderland I get excited and wait to listen what the birds and beasts talk.:)My dream is to stay in a small hut in a farm that is built on a hill and  a river that flows by.
When the heart is filled with love,we feel like crying.But,I must tell you,I can't remember a time when I don't love you.Thank you so much for your warmth in the friendship.I am so grateful to all of you who are still with me and those who have parted their ways.I must tell you,friends,

''Let your smile change the world.But don't let teh world snatch your smile''.That is the only request I have right now.
The forward I received today made me so emotional and before I knew tears were falling through the cheeks.Let me share the same with you.

Here his wife is injured and the condition is fatal.

She was hit by a car as she swooped low across the road. 

Here he brought her food and attended to her with love and compassion

He brought her food again but was shocked to find her dead.He tried to move her.A rarely seen effort to swallow.

Aware that his sweetheart is dead and will never come.
Back to him again,he cries with adoring love.

He stood beside her,saddened by her death.

My heart is so heavy after viewing the pictures,feeling the depth of the loss of the beloved,and a cry gets choked in my throat. Friends,trust me,plants,birds and animals do have feelings.

Now tell me,how do you feel now?

Thank you so much for gifting me the  unforgettable moments-let them be of pain or pleasure.

A smile,a love note,a phone call,an email,a sms,showers,a hot cup of coffee and a good book and my sparrows and waves help me to live life.

Dear Friends,
             Good Morning!
Today I feel so good after having darshan of Lord Ayyappa and upadevathas.Morning is very cool  after the showers.Thanks a lot for your comments for the last post .The clarity  and beauty of the photos of Shilparamam was liked by all.
Today is an auspicious day-Guru Pournima It is also called as Vyasa Poornima.It is held on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Ashadh when devotees around the world celebrate their devotion for their spiritual master and rejoice in their relationship with knowledgeGuru Poornima is dedicated to the  great sage Vyasa..We are indebted to this ancient Saint ,who edited the four Vedas,eighteen Puranas ,the Mahabharata and Srimad Bhagavatha.Vyasa eve taught Dattatreya,who is regarded as the Guru of Gurus.

On this day,all spiritual aspirants and worship Vyasa in honour of his divine personage and all disciples perform a puja of their respective spiritual gurudevas.
Our parents are our first gurus.Our world begins with our parents.We have many in our lives who help in moulding and shaping our personalities.We have come across some extra ordinary teachers in our lives.They reach us beyond the call of duty.My parents took care to give us the valuable lessons.Then our teachers,books,nature,sea,birds,animals,friend,the list goes on and on.....Chaturmasam begins today.Every spiritual speaker and devotee worship his Gurudeva and praying to him as God's direct representative on earth soulfully offers him his devotion in the form of flowers,fruits and other offerings.
Today I remember my gurus so fondly,
Gratitude blooms in my heart with respect,
My devotion is my guru dakshina!
Whatever I am today,
I owe to my parents,family and gurus!

The sweet and sour experiences of life.
The nature is my best teacher now.
The deep blue sea,the tiny sparrows,
The fruit laden branches and the flowers
Teach me the values of life!
If I have hurt you,by harsh words,
I must tell you,I am really sorry.
When the moon shines so bright,
And the heart fills with solitude,
I remember each of my Gurus,
Who is a source of inspiration,
And  guides me to walk on the right path.
I learnt by trial and error methods,
Through sunshine and raindrops,
But I am always positive in thinking,
And I do strongly believe,
There is light in the other end of the tunnel!
When Hindus conduct special pujas in the evenings in the temples and at home,everyone chants devotional songs.We have special programme held by North Indians at Ayyappa Temple.
This day is also deep significance for farmers,for it heralds the setting in of rains.Traditionally it is said to be a good time to begin our spiritual lessons.
If I could express my feelings and thoughts fluently,I am grateful to my parents and gurus for that.And for evoking feelings,friends,you have a lion's share.

My Gurus taught me,
''When things go wrong as sometimes will,
When the road you're treading seems all uphill,
Rest if you must,but don't you quit!''
In many parishes in Goa,Grandparent's Day is celebrated on July26,today the feast of St.Anne and St.Joaquim,the parents of Mother Mary.I do wear a ring with the picture of Mother Mary. Special masses and cultural programmes are conducted in different churches.Grandparents are those loving people with silver in their hair and gold in their heart.Grandparents are real treasure.Please make your presence felt and love them.
They relive their young,playful days when they hold their grandchildren in their arms.As they hold the little bundles of joy and armfuls of mischief,their aches and pains are all forgotten.
Friends,
 Life is a mixture of joys and sorrows.Let us learn from our mistakes and bounce back with poistive problem solving approaches.So,your time starts now to get destressed!:)

A KALEIDOSCOPE OF VIBRANT COLOURS OF HYDERABAD

           Good Evening!
Heavy downpours in the state causing trouble for commutation.The market is partially submerged in showers.Many trees are uprooted.
Anya and her lovely daughters,Suzanne and Marjolein join me in thanking all of you,my dear friends for your support  and prayers to face the critical situation.Wilfred is still in hospital.I request you to keep on praying and send positive energy to Wilfred.We love you,guys and we are so grateful to you.
Today I  need a change as the ad goes,''Who doesn't like a change?''Right now I dream and recollect my pleasant and unforgettable trip to the State Of Nizamas.
I love to spend my holidays  in this lovely hut, all alone.How beautiful the tulsi plant looks.The very atmosphere is so pure and enchanting!
                               The location is SHILPARAMAM in Hyderabad.This is a must see destination and I loved this tourist spot very much.I am very happy to tell you that these snaps are shot with NIKON -D90.

Shilparamam ,the arts ,crafts and cultural village at Hyderabad established in the year 1992 is spread over 65 acres of prime land in Madhapur,Hi-Tech city.Shilparamam is Hyderabad's tribute to India's natural beauty,richly diverse cultural heritage and vibrant ethos.It is a place where artisans across the country showcase their individual skills in a variety of arts,crafts and culture.The yearly All-India Festival of  Arts and Crafts held here in February highlights the cultural and creative traditions  of the country and provides a unique occasion to take home a piece of Indian art.

Shilparamam is the name one can associate with the place where the efforts to revive the traditional industry of India in the present times has become a reality.The village provides harmony between the traditional and modern culture of India.

Two life -size terracotta horses that stand on both the sides of the path welcome the visitors.As one passes by one can see live demonstration of craftsmen working on clay,wood,paper,clay,soil clothes and metal giving them beautiful forms.
The village is beautifully planned to accomodate different sections like shops,the village theatre an auditorium which holds cultural festivals,magic shows,music concerts etc.In the middle of Shilparamam an amphi theatre is placed to perform Bharata Natyam,Bhgangra,English plays or any other music concerts.In March 2000,a living rock gallery is added in Shilparamam and named as Prakarti Raga.In this gallery,the artists show their art to the whole world with the help of living rocks.

It's a unique craft village which brings us closer to nature and the hardwork of artists.Shilparamam is situated besides a hill with natural slope and wild vegetation.We can enroll ourselves and learn various handicrafts like terra-cotta,mask making and Banjara needle crafts.

Here we can find brick structures with thatched roofs.The walls of these structures are decorated with traditional rangoli motifs.This village aims to preserve traditional arts and crafts of the country.Shilparamam,Hyderabad, is a cultural centre  that celebrates many museums and art galleries.

Friends,I enjoyed my day at Shilparamam.You can plan your trip to Hyderabad this October,Dussehra time when many cultural activities are held.The Sankrant Sansandadi  festival of harvest is held in January.So,come on yaar,let us make wooden toys by carving wood and stone,making pots and casting metal.
I love the city of Nizams.It is one of the most Hi-Tech city.

Dear Friends,

Good Evening!Monsoon has hit the state hard.Roads are flooded.Listening to the rhythm of the falling rains I enjoy the downpour from the balcony.But I am gloomy.Thinking of my friend,Anya I become restless and worried.I miss her a lot.She needs no introduction as she might be the first to reach your blogs  and leaves touching comments.I was surprised to see her presence even in Malayalam blogs,a language unknown to her.That is the true spirit of friendship where language is not a barrier.Readers enjoy and relax browsing through her posts mostly related to the happenings of the life of her pet-a lovely cat-Karletje.A smile adorns our lips leaving her blog..Anya's posts are so refreshing and pleasing!I always used to wonder how does she manage time writing posts regularly and reaching out to her friends and even unknown beginners leaving comments for them.Anya means stranger in Malayalam but unlike her name she is so friendly and warm.Her blog is Karletje en ikke.

Right from the beginning, we have become good friends.I always used to feel very comfortable with her words straight from her  heart.Anya is a familiar name in my family.I often quote Anya,to my dearies.Now it is the time to make Anya feel,she is not alone to face the challenges of life.Her dear husband,Wilfred is seriously sick and he needs our prayers,for a miracle to happen.Prayer has unbelievable strength and it works wonders.Deep from the heart through tears and silence we can reach God. Let's send the positive energy,our sincere love and warm wishes for the  recovery for Wilfred.Wilfred,you will come back to life;I am sure.

During a crisis we do need emotional support from family and friends.This is the time we need to be with our dear friend,Anya.She is the rare one who makes life more beautiful with smiles of warm affection and with words of love and care.

A SPLASH OF LIFE.........

Dear Friends,
Good Evening from the land of music.Nature rejoiced as showers of rain poured over the state.It was fun walking in the heavy showers yesterday after my working hours.With my yellow and green brightly coloured umbrella opened ,I enjoyed the cool showers on me.Even now dark clouds have gathered in the sky.It is fun watching the raindrops falling on the waves.Sea is amazing with brightly coloured lights  reflecting from the ships.The wind and the rain play beautifully causing a wonderful rhythm..The steady showers provided much refreshing feelings.It's wonderful to watch the raindrops left behind on the caladium leaves.On the way to my work place there are fields on both the sides of the road and I enjoy the red water lillies.
The sparrows are safe in the kitchen window pane with added members.So,my kitchen is very noisy as they go to sleep late.I was enjoying the mother sparrow feeding the babies.:)

Back to work  and getting used to the new routine.Life is getting busy and just one Sunday  is a holiday.A warm welcome awaited and my colleagues and clients made me feel so comfortable.It is always nice to know someone awaits eagerly for us.

Today is the first day of Ramayana Month-Karkidaka masam.It was so soothing to my mind listening to the chanting of shlokas from Ramayanam.Most of the channels are showing Ramayanam parayanam.It turns you spiritual.In most of the Hindu families,we can see the old people[youngsters too]reading the holy book.I think I am always influenced and inspired a lot  by this epic.
Getting up late and enjoying the hot tea watching the waves is the beginning of the much awaited Sunday after my prayers.Sitting silently I can listen to the music deep inside.
Maintaining a positive attitude through trying times is the key to happiness and health.Miracles do happen and those moments are much unexpected.It is rightly said,''Of all the things you wear,your face expression is the most important.''Then what is the delay in flashing your bright smile?
The cascading waterfalls are hot  destinations for nature lovers during weekends.
So what is the news at your end?How are you? I just want to remind you,''The heaviest thing to carry is a grudge''.So,tonight before you sleep,get the grudge  washed away.
Life style is different here along with the culture and language.But aakhir dil hein hindustani.:)

The sun's up.But the air is cold.It's gonna to be a good day.It was raining at night.
I am so grateful to all of you,for your warm wishes and prayers for Nanda on her birthday.Amma and Nanda join me in conveying  heartfelt thanks to all of you.Your greetings and prayers enthralled  us. It is very generous and gracious of you to say all the loving and touching words .All of you did make our day!:)
       When heart is heavy,words are few. But,when the dark is night and silence is deep I want to let you know it is the time for me to pack baggage. today when I pack my bags,I will pack all the dear and unforgettable moments that I have gathered during these holidays.
''We always look and care for the person
Whom we love the most!
But we fail to look back at those,
Who love us the most!''

I carry with me my Amma's priceless love,
Her sweet fragrance,the soft and kind loving words,
The advices and promises given,

My visits to the supermarkets,
The relaxing moments at city centre,
The wonderful yummy home made food,
the lush green scenery,

The encouraging comments and feedbacks,
The kindness of unknown people,
The smiles that were bloomed just for me.:)
It's difficult and so painful........
To leave Amma and my dearies..
My hometown and the enchanting surroundings,
My plantains and pavizhamalli pookal,
But then,I have to as responsibility beckons,
Iam grateful to all of you my dearies,
For adding the beautiful moments
To my treasure box, making it full.
The music life lives in the slittle things.
