Dear Friends,
A Pleasant And Lovely Morning To One And All!
Monsoon started in Kerala in full swing!Schools have reopened after the summer holidays.I feel so nice watching the kids going to schools.They are fresh and enthusiastic.They are not bothered about heavy rains.Splashing water to both sides kids walk on wet roads.There is glow on their faces.I love these kids alot!
Rains bring memories.I feel blessed to have good friends.With some I have special bondsBut I never thought soemone would become the friend for lifetime.We come across someone whose absence is felt in full depth;for whom you look forward.
How I can connect so deeply with someone who was a total stranger to me!It's nice,I must say so nice to share a hot cup of tea when pitter-patter brings the cheer!
It's fun enjoying teh rains while the music is played.Reading a fiction listening to the
raindrops gives me the best feelings!

I would like to stand under the mosanda plants,
The bunch of flowers are soaked with water
Drops of rains falling all over me,
They tickle me a lot,reminding his fingers!
I feel nature,the beautiful smell of earth!
Rain water spalshing all around,
Children walk to school and back home!
These cool drizzles fill my heart with love,
Make me miss my dearies beyond words.
Jumping in the puddles,children splash water
And I want to join them very badly!
When it rains I want to tell you
My heart goes out to you!
Longing for a walk in the rain,
Holding your hand so tightly,
The sweet whispers to share
Helping to enjoy the lonely nights
When it rains and it pours,
Your calls give me the comfort
The comfort of being loved and being taken care of..
Now when the rain falls on my window pane
I just dream of dancing in the rain!
You lift me off my feet and we dance!
How blessed I am to count you as my best friend
A friend who m u can have for a life time!
I have never felt so humbled in my life!
Living in the present moment brings one in high spirits!
So,sitting near the window watching the raindrops,
I remember you,my dear friend!
When will you reach me to walk down the rainy village paths
That have their own magical power
To make you fall in love with life all over again?

Rain and romance seem to go together.Your post starting with rain ended as is your wont in romantic friendship.Very nicely written bringing the magic of rain especially what they mean to young children

I'm back after a long break !!
In The Netherlands it rains very often
(but now we have a very hot spring with temp. above the 30C its very nice weather :-)
I wish we could walk and sing together in the rain :))))

hmm...rain is fascinating for me too.. it was in some of those rainy days i started writing poems in my initial days.. my friend used to tell me.. as venil pakshi..? don't know what ..something which yearns for rain, life.. he used to tell..

Lovely Post , Yup rains brings lots of treasured memories ..how we can forget the childhood where ..there were no restriction ..what comes to mind we do it instantly ..running ..in the rain getting bathed and smile smile on all faces ..scene ..and the hot tea after coming home and when waking-up next morning its cold .. but ..the fun never ..stops.
oh my this brought back so many memories. I so want ot be back in india now :(

Rains....remember having cooly walked in rain just like any other time...with people running helter skelter..to avoid.. oh, what a feel.. what freedom.. enjoyed every bit of long walk home after alighting from a bus.. many years ago.. can I do it today...may be..
